Born Demond Fitzgerald Wilson in Jackson MS, Fitzgerald began singing, writing, producing music and playing drums for his local church at the age of 15. In 1998 he joined a group called Du C’zon and performed locally around the St. Louis area. Jynisys spent his formative years listening to 70’s megastars like The Temptations, Isley Brothers, Zapp & Roger, Teddy Pendergrass, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin and many others. Jynisys influences today also include a mixture of artists such as Coldplay, Chris Brown, U2, Phillip Phillips and even Lil Wayne.

Instead of relying on the familiar samples, rhythms and riffs that are a mainstay of today’s urban music scene, Jynisys stands out by gravitating toward the authenticity of creating harmonic musical arrangements with solid songwriting—a big commitment that pays off every single time he records. Being from the South, yet living the majority of his adult life in the Midwest, Jynisys  says, “The best and most beautiful music creations are those that are true reflections of the heart. I attempt, at all costs, to make the most realistic—and best possible—record on any music I compose. Inevitably, music is a snapshot of the storyteller, so I think it must be created that way, too.” Jynisys says.

Not surprisingly, Jynisys commitment to artistic authenticity comes through loud and clear on his latest release entitled “Full Circle”! From start to finish “Full Circle” is a story of Maturation in the growth development of character through Pain, Hope and Love. Jynisys also has an EP entitled “Nyctophilia” and two mixtapes “Relationships: R-101” and “Love Files”. Jynisys has collaborated with many artist around the St. Louis area including Grammy awarding winning producer Courtney Orlando and Dove Award nominated and Stellar Award winning music producer NAB. Fitzgerald has worked with St. Louis National artist Thi’sl, Producer Bradd Young of Lil Wayne’s “Women Lie”, Jodeci and Bone, artist Jai, LeCrae and many more. Jynisys also blazed the St. Louis airwaves through Hot104.1 featuring on the Hit Single “Blue Mutha” by BET’s 106 & Park Freestyle Friday’s Winner and Artist Tef Poe. Jynisys then took his gift and performed on the stage at The Pageant (St. Louis), opening up for Karmin and St. Louis native Nelly! Jynisys also graduated from Extreme Institute by Nelly with a Degree in Recording Engineering w/Mgmt. Jynisys is currently working on his next project titled “VII”…set to release 2020.

Jynisys has began a new venture into the videography world creating videos and film. The first of his music videos is “Beyond The Stars” by the artist Vee, also his wife. His next music video would be “He Did It” by the group Du C’Zon (Due Season). Jynisys would then produce his very own short film titled “3AM” and video promo for his next upcoming music project entitled “VII”.  “I love the feel of creating a film! I’m thankful to God and ready to see how he uses me in this area!” States Jynisys.
